Are you a business on West Side Avenue looking to upgrade your storefront? We can help.
The West Side Avenue Partnership Storefront Improvement Grant offers funding up to $5,000 for exterior improvements like:
New Signage or Awnings

Lighting

Painting

Windows and Other Façade Upgrades

Here's How it Works:

  • The grant covers 75% of the total project cost, up to $5,000
  • No fees to apply
  • Projects must be completed within 120 days of approval
  • Grant funds are paid directly to the contractor (50% upfront, 25% upon completion)
  • Work must not begin before approval
Not Eligible:
  • Banks, savings & loans, gas stations, auto service shops, car dealerships, and stand-alone chain stores
Important Notes:
  • Contractors are responsible for all necessary permits and inspections
  • WSAP reserves the right to waive certain guidelines
  • All applications are reviewed without bias or discrimination

As an example:
If your new sign costs $8,000, the grant would cover $5,000 — and you’d be responsible for $3,000.
